Kit. The self-propelled Loader T170 was produced in the GDR from the mid-1950s and was used on farms and building sites. Powered by its own drive, it could ?speed? along at just 3.5 km/h, but could be towed at up to 20 km/h. The 6.3-m-long boom consisting of two tubes was raised and lowered by cables. With a 10 hp engine, later upgraded to 13 hp, it could lift up to 0.8 t.
