As of 1939, in addition to repair shops, production factories for Messerschmitt aircraft Bf 109 and their sub-assemblies were gradually established on the territory of the Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Thus, after 1945, various spare parts and assemblies for about 500 Messerschmitt Bf109 G6, G12, G14 and K4 were on the former protectorate. There were still more than 1000 DB 605 engines available, which later served as a basis for the deployment of the Czech Air Force. Without further ado, they resorted to the existing Messerschmitt parts and even used them as production templates for further aircraft of this series. For example, the MNO (Ministerstvo narodni obrany = Ministry of National Defence) started mass production of the Bf 109 as Avia C-10, to counteract the slowly announcing shortage of fighter aircraft. The Avia C-10 was to be used as a fighter and reconnaissance aircraft. In the years 1946 and 1947 airplanes BL (Bezpecnostni letectvo) airplanes were produced, which were used for border protection tasks and remained in use until 1950.The 1 / 87th model shows such a "police plane" of the border patrol, which was easily recognizable in the striking colour scheme and civil identification.
