Kibri 39373 H0 Station Bonn
The original of the Bonn Station building represents a typical city Station arranged as a through station. When looking at the new Kibri model it quickly becomes apparent why the first model launched at the Nuremberg toy fair in 1981 excited all modellers without exception. The Station building Bonn consists of over 500 individual parts and has a length of almost 1 m in H0 and thus represents a superlative in modelling. Not only the correct scale but also the exemplariness can be transferred to the entire architecture: with its centre building and the two wings as well as both rail and street sides the model corresponds truly to the original in all important aspects and in colouring. The re-introduction to the market after 20 years is remarkable because such a Station represents an important feature on any layout. It is convincing with its overall proportions as well as with the numerous details. The adjacent Station buildings that cover the tracks have been reworked and show the current paint scheme of the Deutsche Bahn today. The blue hue of the hall creates a nice contrast to the earth coloured buildings. The kit is expanded by a number of accessories for buildings and platforms. Halls and platforms match the dimensions of the Märklin C-track. Raising the height of the platforms makes them suitable for ICE traffic just like in reality.
