Rolls Royce Silver Cloud - a "silver cloud" in the automotive sky.The company, founded in 1906 as Rolls-Royce Limited, was taken over by the British car manufacturer Bentley in 1931 after only 25 years of independence.From then on the production was merged and both car brands continued to be sold under different names.After the war ended, the first Rolls-Royce to be released was the Silver Cloud series, a further development of the predecessor Silver Dawn, which was largely in the hands of JP Blatchley.The rigid frame consisted of a simple welded rectangular tube construction and, as is usual with Rolls Royce, was separated from the body.
